An 8.25 kW PV system for Primrose Cottage Short Term Accommodation
Purpose:
MDSI will purchase and install an 8.25 kW PV system to generate clean electricity and help reduce the carbon emissions at Primrose Cottage. It will also alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as this system is estimated to produce 12264 kW of electricity per annum and help meet our objective as an environmentally conscious organisation. This system will reduce the power bills for much needed for air-conditioning especially through the summer months to support the medical condition of the participants thereby freeing up funds we will use to provide activities, equipment and development of a sensory garden for those attending the respite cottage. This will provide ongoing benefit for services for people with disability.
