10kW PV Solar Capture for Willoughby Park Bowling Club
Purpose:
The Willoughby Park Bowling Club will purchase and install a 10kW solar energy capture system to not only reduce the club's energy costs but also reduce its carbon footprint. A 10kW system will save around 3.5 tonnes of C02 from entering the atmosphere. The funds saved will be used to improve the club's facilities for the local bowling community as well as the many local residents who host their functions at the club. In the last financial year 48 significant community functions were hosted at the club. These include school fundraisers, significant birthday parties, junior sport club presentations and many more.
