A solar panel and battery storage system for The Wanneroo Horse & Pony
Purpose:
The Wanneroo Horse & Pony Club will purchase and install a Solar Panel and Battery Storage System of 19 x GCL 270W, Polycrystalline Solar Modules that will generate on average 7.68MWh per year. This will save a significant amount of funds that the club spends on power as running a bore pump to keep the grounds suitable for horseriding activities is one of the clubs major overhead costs. This solar system will also reduce usage, on average, of six tonnes of CO2 and 1 mega litre of water annually that would otherwise be used in power production. The power generated by the Solar System will alleviate demand on the national electricity network and any surplus will be able to supplied back to the national grid.
