Purpose:
The Willetton Christian Church will be able to purchase 2 x 5kW PV Solar systems to generate clean energy, thus reducing our carbon footprint. The system will provide approximately 23,834 kWh per year of power which will save 18.591 tonnes of CO2 being released into the atmosphere. This proposal is for the Church Building at 1-9 Gloucester Court and a second building that we own at 11 Gloucester Court. The second building has a number of meeting rooms that are used for a variety of activities. As Christian we are called look after this world and consider how we use any available funds. The reduction in energy spending will free up funds for community engagement, and contribute to the community.
