A 5 kW PV and battery storage system for Mother's Love Early Education
Purpose:
Mother's Love Early Education & Childcare Service will purchase and install a 5kW solar PV and battery storage system which will generate clean electricity and help reduce the 's power bills. It will alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as the centre will be mostly self-sufficient for our energy needs. Installing a 5 kW system would provide around 6.87 MW of electricity every year, this would save around 5.5 tonnes of greenhouse gas annually and would be a proud achievement for our environmentally conscious community. The significant reduction in power bills will free up additional funds which will be utilised in sustainable resources like rain water tanks and teaching and learning resources for the service.
