Purpose:
1st Wyong Scout Group will purchase a 4.86 kW PV system with 5 kW storage battery in order to produce clean energy and help reduce the groups power bills. This will not only alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid but will also help to be almost, if not completely, self-sufficient for our energy needs. The reduction in the cost of energy bills will help our group continue to deliver high-quality, youth oriented Scouting activities while keeping membership fees as low as possible.
