A 5.7kW Array and a 6.5kW battery storage for Yeronga Community Garden
Purpose:
To provide reliable power to the Yeronga Community Garden (YCG) to enable us to setup up and power a sustainable metered irrigation system (using tanks, rain water and pumps) servicing the diverse and extensive gardens thereby providing a sustainable watering system provide power to the garden area to support the activities of the community garden as there is no power supply to the area. It's very expensive to install power lines to this site. This will enable YCG to host and support diverse community activities for culturally and disadvantaged groups, provide garden workshops and demonstrations, social activities by providing power for refreshments, presentations, music and drama performances.
