A 10kW Fronius Symo Inverter for the Atwell Arts Centre and Gallery
Purpose:
The Melville Community Arts Association Incorporated will purchase and install a 10KW Solar PV Generator system which will generate clean electricity and help reduce the art centres bills which is something between $6000-$9000. It will alleviate the demand on the national electricity grid as the centre will be mostly self-sufficient for our energy needs. Installing a 10kW system would provide around 7,500 kWh of electricity every year, this would save around 3.3 tonnes of CO2 annually and would be a proud achievement for our environmentally conscious community. The significant reduction in power bills will free up additional funds to go into art supplies, art curating and teaching facilities.
