Purpose:
The project is as follows - Jan Juc Surf Lifesaving Club has an ocean observation tower. The tower requires refurbishment. The proposed project is to refurbish the tower and fit out a cafe on the ground floor. The cafe would be operated as a training facility for the local community youth. JJSLSC has recently signed a MOU with the Torquay Boardriders, using this unique mandate as an engagement tool the JJSLSC with a structured history of training youth would operate the training facility. The cafe would provide training in food preparation and service, retail display, customer service, all aspects of stock control & management, business systems and other related business functions.
