Purpose:
This project will allow Flat Glass Industries to embed an advanced manufacturing platform into its existing glass plant in Geelong and manufacture new value–added glass products. It involves capability enhancement via the acquisition of additional plant and equipment and enhanced systems/software integration to increase productivity, quality and safety standards and competitiveness. It also augments existing technology to widen the product range to digital print on glass, advanced glass processing and special laminated products. This includes engineered products for use in facades and structural elements within buildings.
