Purpose:
Upgrade to Tangentyere Artists art centre building to create a high quality professional gallery and studio environment, by installing reverse cycle air conditioning in the studio, water drainage outside the studio doors and repairing a leaking roof. The proposed works will result in greater artist comfort and safety, improving the quality and amount of art production. It will also result in better visitor experience and increased visitor numbers. All of which will mean greater sales and therefore more revenue returned to artists and their families. This represents a significant improvement in the economic and social living conditions for Alice Springs Town Camp residents.
