Purpose:
Celebrating the natural beauty of the Sunshine Coast’s regional hinterland and showcasing the extraordinary talent of local artists, Horizon Open Air Hinterland is a series of live music performances presented in Horizon Festival 2021 (27 Aug – 5 Sep 2021). Set against the backdrop of stunning hinterland locations, local and visiting audiences will come together to experience intimate outdoor concerts by Queensland based artists, including First Nations artists. Partnering with local communities to deliver the concerts, each event with feature emerging musicians from the region alongside established artists and delivery of community focused capacity building activities to complement each concert.
