Purpose:
A grant has been awarded to boost the efforts of schools and pre–schools, community organisations and local councils to address crime and anti–social behaviour by funding crime prevention initiatives that benefit the wider community. The expected outcome of the project is to protect children who are at risk of attack, harassment or violence stemming from racial or religious intolerance. The grant is expected to fund the installation of 21 CCTV cameras, 20 security lights, two fences, 86 bollards, two security and alarm systems, and 297 intercoms and swipe access for their Springvale and Officer campuses.
