Purpose:
The Hougoumont Hotel is a boutique hotel in Fremantle’s historic West End. The hotel building structure comprises a 2 story heritage building built out of bricks, a 4 story lift lobby built out of concrete blocks, a 4 story wing of 37 rooms built in modular form out of shipping containers and a brewery and bar also constructed out of shipping containers.
The primary consumption of electricity at the Hougoumont comes from air conditioners and refrigeration. So our project is centred on reducing the usage of those 2 machinery elements.
It is expected that completion of the following eligible projects will result in substantial energy savings to the Hotel.
