Purpose:
Recent advances in causal artificial intelligence (AI) offers new opportunities to improve healthcare, however, a better decision support system is needed to enable the use of new technology in clinical practice. Researchers from different fields including medicine, mathematics, decision theory, human factors and implementation science work together to build a system that translates a trustworthy causal AI into better health outcomes for children with pneumonia.
