Installation of a Solar PV System at the The Oaks Historical Society Centre
Purpose:
Our project is to install 44 Hyundai solar 300w mono perc panels, 1 sma STP 10 inverters with 10–year warranty upgrade. 1 x Antai Solar pv framing system and solar analytics monitoring system.
This will assist us in reducing our carbon emissions by approximately 12,000kg annually. As a result, the energy consumption at the heritage centre will be reduced substantially.
We consider it our responsibility to lead by example and we can show children and visitors how we can combine new and old processes. The installation of the solar panels will have a huge effect on our electricity bills and allow us to continue with an entry fee of only $1 for children and $3 for adults.
Our supplier and installers are members of The Clean Energy Council as Approved Solar Retailers and they are also registered with The Smart Energy Council as Fully Accredited Master Installers.
Wollondilly Council (the building owners) have already given us approval to install the solar panels at Wollondilly Heritage Centre.
As soon as our grant is approved, I will sign the contract with Inspire Energy and they will start the process as soon as possible.
