Purpose:
1. Replace of 12 x 1960's timber frame, 2mm single glaze pane glass window units to 12 hotel rooms. Each unit is 3.5m x 2.4m high. They will be replaced with doubled glazed aluminium units with no doors. The old timber units with single glaze 2mm glass are highly inefficient. New window units will have vacuum sealed awning windows and installed with expansion foam. Sunscreen blinds and full room curtains will also be installed.
2. New rear entrance auto doors to rear exits ground and first floor. The current timber door frames left open during business hours with terrible thermal efficiency. Replace with double glazed auto doors. Doors only open when guests enter/exit. Drastically reduce energy use by hall electric heating units.
