Solar Panel Installation at Airport Over 50s Club
Purpose:
The project involves installation of 36 solar panels (with a rated capacity of 10 Kw) and the associated inverter expected to reduce the power costs and carbon contribution for the site which is used by over 700 different people multiple times per month. This will significantly enhance the ongoing viability of the Airport Over 50s Club which provides extensive physical and social activities for Seniors in the area covered by the West Torrens Council as well as the numerous Councils bordering it. For many Seniors (most well over 70 years old) this is often the sole outside contact they have. It also caters for their physical well being hence ensuring they can enjoy a good quality of life as well as reduce their drain on the local medical facilities.
