St Aloysius STEM – Future skills for students
Purpose:
St Aloysius will establish a contemporary maker space where students can engage in rich learning activities that focus on developing future skills such as creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, cooperation and communication. Students will apply the engineering process to plan, create and refine solutions to real life meaningful problems from within their community. Our makerspace will provide an environment where students can utilise digital technologies and engage with experts both locally and globally. Our Maker space will be a hands on learning environment where students are allowed to fail and learn through that experience. Students will utilise resources such as 3D printers, Lego robotics, Makey Makeys, Drones and coding.
