Purpose:
The project will create a new garden, repair a deck and install fencing and a rainwater tank at the child care centre. This will conserve water and allow children from the centre to experience gardening, improving their development skills and health.been proven to have great effect on the development of various skills and the promotion of healthy body for children. By getting involve in gardening, children have a chance to take care of their own plants / vegetables and learn to care about and appreciate the environment around them. The rain water tank will conserve the precious natural resources, water and reduce the outflow into the already congested storm water drain and expose / educate our children at the very young age on the important of conserving our rare, precious natural resources.
