Purpose:
1. Install Energy Efficient Lighting. All existing lights will be replaced with LEDs. This includes both internal and external lights. There are 3 external flood lights which are essential to ensure safety for rowers preparing boats in the pre–dawn dark. A low voltage LED strip–light will also be installed at the step–down from the deck to the pontoon, again to address rowers safety when carrying boats overhead in the dark.
2. Install a New 4kw PVC Solar System. This system will be installed on the boat–shed's veranda roof, and will incorporate shade optimising technology so as to maximise solar energy output. This system represents 55 STCs with a value of $1980, which has been taken into account in the preparation of the quote submitted here.
