Purpose:
This project will provide vital information concerning the population dynamics, distribution and habitat preferences of the endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog at Avoca Lagoon, and the complex hydrological cycle of the key breeding area, Bareena Lagoon. This information will be used by Central Coast Council to guide habitat restoration works around Avoca Lagoon which will improve the viability of the Green and Golden Bell Frog population and contribute towards the long term goal of improving water quality within the lagoon.
