Purpose:
The project will improve access certainty for heavy vehicles across regional freight routes by developing and providing tools to assist local government assess asset capability. The NHVR will help local government identify strategic heavy vehicle corridors by analysing heavy vehicle demand and prioritising assets for assessment. These activities will help focus priority route assets for assessment and connect regions to provide seamless access across jurisdictions.
