Purpose:
Research on adults who function successfully at older ages could provide insights into what determines wellbeing in old age, how dementia could be prevented and what services might be required for older adults. This research will examine not just memory and other cognitive processes but also physical function and social connectedness to see how these aspects of functioning interact in successful ageing.
