This project will purchase and install a new compliant LED Runway Lighting System to replace aging and failing runway lighting at the Burnie Airport, first commissioned in 1987. These works will result in a fully compliant, safe and reliable lighting system for Air Transportation, the Tasmanian Ambulance Service, Royal Flying Doctors Service and all secure safe night operations at the Airport.
