Purpose:
Undertake various repatriation activities that include research, Indigenous consultations and the physical return of both ancestral remains and secret sacred objects. The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory will employ an Indigenous repatriation officer to complete these activities. These will be undertaken in a range of areas across the Northern Territory including Eastern and Western Arrernte, Yuendumu, and Pintubi.
