Working with Aboriginal families and health and social service providers to assess the feasibility of a novel care package to reduce cannabis and alcohol use and social stress in pregnancy
Purpose:
Aboriginal communities in South Australia have consistently said, they seek support to address harmful effects of cannabis and alcohol use and stress in pregnancy. This study will work with families and services to develop a culturally-responsive care package to empower women and their partner to address these issues. The study will generate new knowledge about the feasibility and acceptability of the package in two Aboriginal antenatal clinics in two hospitals to inform broader implementation.
