Grant Activity:
PRC-1 regulation of mature CD8+ T cell effector and memory responses
Purpose:
The programming of effective killer T cell immunity is associated requires appropriate gene regulation that ensures acquisition of the specific functions necessary for control of infection and cancer, as well as the establishment of effective immunity. This study will examine how a key factor called PRC1 regulates the induction of optimal protective virus and tumour T responses. This knowledge will contribute to the development of novel treatments for infection, cancer and autoimmune disease.
