Purpose:
Sypharma, an advanced manufacturer in the biopharmaceutical sector, is developing a centre of excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing at its Dandenong facility. The project will enable the production of human grade biopharmaceutical products through the installation of an advanced IV–fluid production system. The advanced production line will increase production capacity and quality standards by integrating automation, enhanced systems/software including monitoring systems and energy efficient machinery. Such standards are demanded in modern pharmaceutical manufacture. Sypharma will broaden the manufacture of its veterinary portfolio to provide human pharmaceuticals. The project creates 34 new roles across the business.
