The purpose of the Grant is to deliver the ?More Than Just Building Things? Construction Industry Event (the Event). The Event will provide Year 11 and 12 students with an opportunity to hear from industry experts and career advisors and will provide direct exposure to Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways, in the Gosford SA4 region. The event is expected to attract 1000 visitors, including students, Industry practitioners, Education staff, parents, and guardians. The Grant will also directly support industry needs and address the skills shortages in the Construction industry by facilitating a major event for stakeholder collaboration and discussion regarding VET pathways.
