Grant Activity:
Implementation of a co-designed, community led exercise program to reduce falls in older people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities: a pilot trial.
Purpose:
Falls are the second leading cause of disability in older people. There is strong evidence that exercise reduces falls, however most older people do not meet physical activity guidelines. We are currently co-designing a program to increase the uptake of exercise to reduce falls with older people from Italian, Arab and Chinese communities. This pilot trial will test the feasibility of delivering and evaluating this co-designed program.
