LED LIGHT UPGRADE
Purpose:
Cairns Basketball will replace all existing Fluorescent Lights Tubes and other lighting with LED sensor lights.
We currently have 74 Fluorescent Lights.
The replacement of each tube with an LED sensor tube will save us $90 in electricity charges per tube annually.
The total estimated power saving is 51,200kw annually.
The changeover will also reduce maintenance costs significantly as LED tubes have a minimum estimated life of 5 years
There is also the greenhouse gas saving of 46.08 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
