Shirty Science - Favourite Science Shirt
Purpose:
Together with ARC Centres of Excellence (CoE) we are sparking conversations about Australian research. CoE scientists will be paired with artists and work together to create unique science shirts about their research.
Each pair will present their final design to the Australian public and a panel of esteemed scientific and creative judges through a live stream event, hoping that their creativity and teamwork will be enough to win them the title of Favourite Science Shirt.
All shirts will be available to purchase online, with profits donated to an organisation that supports diversity and inclusion in STEM.
Shirty Science and CoE will disrupt stereotypes, promote collaboration and increase the reach and impact of Australian research.
