Purpose:
This project involves refining the composition of the photoluminescent materials and its production processes to extend the brightness, duration and colour of the emitted light when used in a typical road application like linemarking, pavement markings and road signs. It will improve night-time road safety, particularly long lengths of roads in regional and remote areas.
