Purpose:
The training will provide accredited training, assessment and certification. Successful candidates will be qualified to ISO 9606–1 standard and certified through the Weld Australia certification register. This training will increase the number of skilled and work ready welders available to Tasmanian manufacturers. Additionally, the program will create a database of welders in Tasmania and will assist in identifying skill gaps.
