Purpose:
We are creating a fixed maker space in a currently underutilised portable classroom. It is intended that this space will be used for focussed and specific teaching around skills needed for STEM thinking, allowing teachers and students to engage in designing and creating to meet different needs. It will also give us a central storage area for science, technology, design and construction tools, equipment and materials, from where teachers can borrow for use in their own learning spaces.
