Purpose:
As a heritage listed hotel located in the blue mountains region with 41 guest rooms plus various large common area spaces including a large onsite restaurant, function and conference rooms, guest public lounge rooms, library, gymnasium room, billiards lounge etc, we are keen on building a sustainable future by reducing our carbon footprint. This can be partly achieved through replacing all existing lights with LED lighting to achieve a 70–80% savings on electricity consumption, as well as providing for better lighting for guests and improve work productivity for employees. Unlike the existing old fashioned lights, LED have low/no maintenance.
