Purpose:
Over the next five years I will use statistical genetics approaches to: (i) characterise the effects on genetic variants associated with psychiatric disorders on brain structure and connectivity; (ii) improve our understanding of the genetics of psychiatric disorders focusing on individual differences in the response to pharmacological treatments of these disorders and side-effects associate with these treatments.
