Purpose:
Helitak has developed an innovative, expandable, underbelly water tank for use on Super Puma helicopters. This technology will provide a cheap, safe, efficient, and easy way to convert this popular helicopter model for use in aerial firefighting. Accelerating Commercialisation support will be used to aid Helitak in commercialising this product. It will also support bringing the technology to the international market by facilitating the design and construction of the FT4250 Super Puma Fire Tank, obtaining the relevant international certifications, and marketing and exhibiting the product at a series of industry expos and conventions around the world.
