Taking a population health approach to supporting students' social and emotional wellbeing and mental health within the education system
Purpose:

This project seeks to understand the current status of student wellbeing in South Australia, and the ways that schools and the Department of Education support the mental health of their students. This project will identify gaps and inefficiencies in the system, opportunities for improvement, and these findings will be translated into a suite of tools, resources and guidelines purpose-built to support principals, school counsellors and teachers to respond to their students’ mental health needs.
