Better health through better trials: A national network to develop and implement innovative clinical trials methodology
Purpose:
Randomised trials tell us how interventions affect health. Innovative trial design is essential for efficiency and to rapidly translate research findings into practice. Challenges exist for the analysis of real-world trials including missing data due to loss to follow up of participants and imperfect delivery or compliance with the intervention. Our new Network will link the leading researchers in Australia to design innovative trials and extract innovative insights from completed trials.
