Purpose:
Our Energy Reduction Project has been undertaken to reduce our carbon footprint and reduce excessive energy consumption and energy bills. We plan to update our remaining non–inverter split system A/C in guest rooms, reception and restaurant to energy–efficient inverter technology. We would then pair these with smart remote controls to limit the temperature variances available, meaning that the new A/C run more efficiently. This will benefit our organisation by not only reducing energy usage, but also reduce the load on our solar usage, in–turn allowing for greater export of energy back to the grid. The non–tangible benefit to our guests is a more comfortable room temperature due to inverter technology.
