Purpose:
The Babinda State Hotel Efficient Energy Project is aimed at reducing energy use and improving the energy productivity of the Babinda State Hotel. The hotel is already equipped with solar panels on the roof. This project will continue to improve the hotel's energy usage by firstly, upgrading the building fabric to save energy through the installation of blinds tailored specifically to the hotel's needs and secondly, upgrading the equipment used to cool the hotel, thereby reducing energy consumption. These two changes will significantly further improve the hotel's overall energy efficiency.
