Purpose:
Making Change will answer the question of ‘How do you change the world?’ through records held in the National Archives’ collection. It will explore the ways Australians have changed the world, and how the Commonwealth has responded.
The exhibition is not just about activism and activists. The world is changed in so many large and small ways – through protests and demonstrations, but also through invention and innovation, elections and referendums, gaining and providing an education, creating and promoting art and culture, and making space for the marginalised in the community. Making Change will investigate many of these ideas.
