Purpose:
I will be looking to implement a program of reduction in the consumption of natural resources for our hotel units. This will be achieved through the implementation of energy efficient lighting & air conditioning, controls & automation. The long & short term objectives will be to reduce power consumption and provide education of guests around energy use. The benefits will be beneficial across a number of areas, 1) Energy Reduction which will result in less energy resource consumed, 2) Power & Energy Bill reduction in bills and ongoing costs, 3) Employment – works given to local and regional contractors and supply chain which stimulates the local economy. The benefits will be realized straight away.
