The Social and Commercial Determinants of Alcohol Consumption for Middle-Aged Australian Women
Purpose:
There is strong evidence that alcohol is a causal factor for breast cancer. Women aged 45-64 are at highest risk of developing breast cancer, and alcohol consumption for Australian women in this age group is worryingly high. This research will explore the social and commercial determinants of consumption for middle-aged Australian women. This knowledge is critical for tailoring information about health risks associated with alcohol consumption to be relevant and effective.
