Forest Management Industry Immersion Tour - Maryborough
The purpose of the Grant is to provide teachers and students with an awareness and connection to future Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways providing employment opportunities into the Forest Management and Timber production industry sectors on completion of their education in the SA4 Maryborough Industry Training Hub servicing area, Maryborough Queensland. The grant will directly support industry needs and address skill shortages in the Forest Management and Timber production industry sectors by coordinating and delivering a full day industry site tour to a range of businesses in Maryborough, Queensland, exploring the working environment and the end-to-end processes of Forest Management and Timber production. This tour will be for a minimum of fifteen (15) students and a maximum of twenty?(20) students, and teaching/education staff from schools in the Maryborough SA4 region, Queensland.
