Purpose:
'Threading the Foreshore' is a brand new project for 2019 that aims to fill the gaps along the 2kms of foreshore dotted with a variety of music and dance stages, community village stalls sharing info & activities, bicycle valet parking, a sand sculpture competition and food vendors & bars for alfresco dining throughout the big event 'A Day on the Foreshore' at Nightcliff Seabreeze Festival. The festival would like to engage 8 - 10 visual and constructive artists to engage with community groups, schools and youth after-school-hours venues to create and collaborate with their participants using reusable, recycled and environmentally friendly materials.
