Emerging Indigenous hip-hop rapping performing artist Baker Boy has caught the imagination of Indigenous and non-Indigenous alike for fusing both English and his traditional Yolnu Matha language and instruments into his original music. Baker Boy’s performance at TCF25 symbolises the unity that can be achieved between diversity and mainstream. The Harmony in Diversity project will facilitate a range of art and performance based activities bringing Indigenous, refugee and migrants together, culminating in a public art exhibition, workshops, short film festival and a dance performance reflecting the cultural diversity in our region.
