Snowtown Pavilion solar Project
Purpose:
We propose to install a 13.3KW solar system on the Snowtown Pavilion to significantly reduce the cost of electricity used in the Pavilion. The Blyth Snowtown Football Club has built a significant community asset with the Snowtown Pavilion. With previously having nothing but an empty shed, we now have 5 separate change–rooms, a commercially viable kitchen and bar, and a 160 square metre clubroom for the club and community to utilise. The ongoing cost of electricity is becoming a financial burden on the Football Club as we aim to provide community access to this facility at a minimal or free rate.
